Why We Only Choose CE Marked Products To Use in the Clinic
There are so many things to think about when considering any aesthetic treatment, including who will be administering it and the environment in which your treatment will take place. But it's also important to think about the quality of the products that will be used during your treatment. In order to provide optimal peace of mind to everyone who visits us here at the clinic, we ensure that we only use the highest quality products that have earned the trusted CEmark.
The Importance of High Quality Aesthetic Products
The reason why professionally administered aesthetic treatments are very safe is because they are provided by practitioners with a comprehensive understanding of the treatments they are offering and the anatomy of the face.
Myself, my team and all responsible aesthetic practitioners are classed as prescribers, and as such, we believe that it is our responsibility to take a complete medical history from each of our clients during the consultation process. This allows us to consider which treatment options are safe and will yield the best possible outcomes, ensuring that we are always acting in our clients' best interests.
As part of our commitment to acting in your best interests, we also ensure that we only use products that have undergone thorough testing and have been approved by trusted regulatory bodies. In fact, we only choose to use productsthat have the trusted CE mark within the clinic.
What is the CE Mark?
The CE mark indicates that a product is in full compliance with legislation set out by the EU and shows that the product's manufacturer has ensured that the product meets the EU's strict health and safety requirements.
When a product displays the CE mark, it is a sign that the manufacturer is declaring that they have conformed with each of the legal requirements that need to be met in order to use the mark. Additionally, manufacturers must have all required documentation to back up their claims.
Although the UK is no longer part of the European Union, the government has set out legislation to uphold existing requirements for a number of product regulations. We strongly recommend asking your chosen aesthetic practitioner which products they are using and whether they have earned the trusted CEmark.
Why We Don't Use Non-CE Marked Products
Unfortunately, there are countless aesthetic products on the market that simply haven't been properly tested or been through strict approval processes. When these untested products get into the hands of practitioners who, for whatever reason, aren't doing their due diligence, the risks associated with aesthetic procedures and treatments increase significantly.
Simply put, without comprehensive research, testing and analysis, it just isn't possible to determine whether products are safe to use or whether they may cause harmful side effects.
The Pemberley Clinic's Trusted Brands
There are a number of trusted brands we use here at the clinic, all of which bear the CE mark and have undergone rigorous clinical testing.
Ellanse is a high quality dermal filler which minimises the appearance of lines and wrinkles and stimulates the body's natural collagen production process. This means that, unlike other dermal fillers that simply add volume, Ellanse can provide longer lasting firmness and elasticity.
Similar outcomes can be achieved with HarmonyCA, which we also offer here at the clinic. This dual effect hybrid dermal filler offers the skin an immediate lift and stimulates collagen production for lasting results.
For those looking to restore the skin's natural glow, Redensity 1 is a powerful glow enhancer that can address a number of concerns, including sun damage, sagging, and dryness.
